Some of our kababayans sometimes call or email or send me a message on Meta or Whatsapp. For example, anong number ba ang tatawagan for Labour matters, o kaya yung Assistance to Nationals, o kung sino daw pwedeng tawagan. O kaya sino daw po ba yung Consul at anong kaibahan sa Consul General?
At nitong nag sumite ng kanyang credentials ang ating bagong Ambassador, na si Ambassador Teddy Boy Locsin, kasama ng kanyang butihing maybahay na si Mrs Louie Locsin. Maraming mga Pinoy ang naka-saksi sa pagsakay at pagbaba ng mga ito sa ginintuang mga karwahe na ipinadala ng Palasyo (Buckingham). At ngayon lang nila nalaman na may bago na tayong Sugo.
Anyway, sa ibaba po ay makikita ninyo ang mga extracted information mula sa London Diplomatic List na inililimbag ng Foreign & Commonwealth Development Office taun-taon. Makikita po diyan ang lahat ng mga addresses ng Embassy, mainly sa 6-11 Suffolk Street, London SW1Y 4HG, malapit sa Trafalgar Square, at ang matagal nang opisina ng Trade Section sa Kensington High Street, tapat naman ng Kensington Palace. Yung Defence & Armed Forces Section naman ay hindi dito nakabase kung hindi sa Madrid, Spain.
Self-explanatory po lahat ang listahan dahil nakasaad ang mga position ng 28 opisyal at tauhan sa Embahada. Pero para sa mga Overseas Filipinos, ang malimit nilang makakausap at makakasalamuha ay ang mga nasa Konsulado, na pinamumunuan ng popular nating Deputy Head of Mission & Consul General Rhen Rodriguez at may tatlong Consul sa ilalim niya. Samantala, ang mga labour and employment issues sa opisina ni Labour Attache Amy Reyes at kanyang team. Kung mahilig naman kayong sumuporta sa tourism sa Pilipinas ang kakausapin ninyo ay si Tourism Attache Gerry Panga at ang kanyang team.
